Palmitos Park Gran Canaria! Let’s go and watch some animals in their natural habitat and watch some nice shows. Palmitos Park Gran Canaria is the second biggest zoo in the Canarias Islands, after Loro Park in Tenerife.

Palmitos Park lays in the district of Maspalomas. This zoo theme park is situated between two big mountains and lays in a real nature zone.

So in the meanwhile, you are visiting this amazing zoo you will feel yourself in the real habitat of these animals.

How to go to Palmitos Park?

There are different ways to there if you are not renting a car. Most of the people prefer to go by bus (Global). In case you decide to go by bus there are two options for buses.

The first one is if you stay in the southeast of the island like Playa ingles, Bahia Feliz or Maspalomas is this case you will take the bus nr. 45.

On the other side if you stay in the southwest of the island Puerto Mogan, Puerto Rico, or Faro Maspalomas your bus number will be nr. 40.

If you are on a holiday with a big family (more than 5) it is maybe easier and cheaper to take a taxi that can fit 8 persons.

What animals are in Palmitos Park?

In Palmitos Park you have all quant of animals. You have zones where you can find a quant of mammals like Meerkats, Wallabies, Apes, etc. in other zones you will find all different birds, reptiles, fishes, and butterflies.

Next to this, this animal park haves really nice and great shows. Like in the dolphin show, here you will be amazed by what they all capable of.

Or the birds of prey show, here you will see the real thing like the white-headed eagle and some vulture. Or go and a good laugh at the parrot show.
